Agnieszka Dudrak worked with typical city songs often sung at the Georgian table. She ‘disturbed’ joyful or romantic melodies with fragments taken from interviews with twenty domestic violence survivors. The idea was to ‘disturb’ the supra, to create tiny moments of discomfort, and to open the discussion about the silencing of these painful experiences. The installation starts and ends with songs, as if nothing had happened.
აგნეშკა დუდრაკმა იმუშავა იმ ტიპური ქალაქური სიმღერების კუთხით, რომლებიც ხშირად სრულდება ქართულ სუფრაზე. მან ეს მხიარული და რომანტიკული მელოდიები ძალადობის მსხვერპლთა ინტერვიუებიდან ამოკრეფილი ფრაგმენტებით “შეაზავა”. მიზანი იყო სუფრის “არევა-დარევა”- პატარა დისკომფორტის შექმნა და დისკუსიის დაწყება ამ მტკივნეულ გამოცდილებათა მიჩქმალვის თემაზე. ინსტალაცია იწყება და მთავრდება სიმღერებით – ვითომ არაფერი მომხდარა.
